About Us

Since 1980, WhiteWater Express has been one of the country’s leading river outfitters. We were one of the pioneer outfitters that worked with the United States Forest Service to develop the rivers of the Southeast. In 1990 we were selected by the Olympic Committee to oversee all of the water sports for the 1996 Olympics! It has been a pleasure of ours to guide over one million people since 1980 and over 1000 youth groups through high adventure each year.

Here are a few reasons why you should choose us when planning your next high adventure trip:

EXPERIENCE – Our experience in the outdoor industry, particularly in whitewater rafting and high adventure, has been the foundation upon which we have grown through the years. Guide experience, river knowledge, and overall experience in creating the best possible trip for each customer translates into safety and satisfaction. SAFETY – Our safety record is unmatched in the industry.   You can feel secure in the hands of our highly-experienced team of guides and activity staff who have safely provided over 1,000,000 trips and activities.
VALUE – We enjoy providing exceptional service and the finest facilities around at the lowest price available! It is important to us that we fit your budget, so you determine the cost of the trip by selecting which activities best suit your group, no matter the size. FLEXIBILITY – We allow you complete flexibility to create the best schedule for your group. You can stay just one day or stay for a week. We are happy to accommodate your schedule and needs.
