The first flight on the Blue Heron is a gravity defying dual-zip totaling 1,200 ft. and reaching speeds up to 40mph! This zip not only connects Georgia and Alabama, it will have your feet dangling 100 ft. over the Columbus, Georgia Whitewater course. Watch out! Rafters will be floating through the famous CutBait rapid below! The next zip will have thrill seekers gliding along the riverside of Phenix City, Alabama through the beautiful wooded riverwalk area toward the final zip. The trip finishes as zippers take flight across the Chattahoochee River once again and land right back at our outpost where you began!

Test your inner Tarzan skills, and soar the treetops of Phenix City, Alabama! The Blue Heron Aerial Course offers two levels of difficulty for adventure seekers ages five and up. Zip from tree to tree, crawl through a high-altitude tunnel, balance on floating beams, walk across a wobbly bridge, swing from high-hanging ropes, and climb across a roped spider web. From team building to family fun, the Blue Heron Aerial Course is an action packed challenge that is sure to excite all skill levels.

Q. What are the requirements?
A. Junior adventure seekers, ages five and up will be able to experience the treetop Blue Heron Aerial Course. The aerial course has a weight limit of 250lbs. Blue Heron Adventure Zip Liners are required to be 10-years-of-age or older, and at least 70lbs and no more than 250lbs.

Q. What should I wear on the Blue Heron Adventure?
A. Wear closed toe shoes that cannot slip off and comfortable (weather-appropriate) clothing. We recommend athletic wear. In the colder months, feel free to bundle up!

Q. Do I need to make a reservation?
A. Walk-ins are welcome, but not guaranteed. We highly recommend reservations (especially on holidays/weekends)! Call 706-321-4720 to reserve your trip, or book online at www.whitewaterexpress.com.

Q. Are trips cancelled when it rains?
A. We zip rain or shine, but factors such as wind or lightning may force us to delay or cancel the trip if necessary. Safety is our #1 priority.
