Directions to Nantahala Outpost

From Atlanta:

Take I-75 North to I-575 North. I-575 becomes State Hwy 5 which in turn becomes Hwy 76. Stay on this road until you reach Blue Ridge, GA, and then turn left onto Hwy 60 towards Mineral Bluff, GA.

In Mineral Bluff, turn right onto Hwy 60 SPUR and follow it into North Carolina to US 64/74 East, turning right toward Murphy and Andrews. After passing through Murphy and Andrews, the road will narrow to two lanes of traffic. Once the road narrows, the outpost will be 1.7 miles on the left.

From Chattanooga:

I-75 North out of Chattanooga toward Cleveland, TN. Go approx. 20 miles, get off on Exit 20 (US-64 by-pass) take a right, (Watch mileage because there are 2 exits to 64 East) follow 6.3 miles to US 64 East, take right on 64 East. Stay on 64 East and travel into North Carolina. After entering North Carolina, you will pass through Murphy and Andrews. After passing through Andrews, the road will narrow to two lanes of traffic. Once the road narrows, the outpost will be 1.7 miles on the left.

From Asheville/Bryson City:

I-40 West towards Knoxville, TN. Take Exit 27 onto Hwy 74 West towards Waynesville. The 4-lane portion of Hwy 74 will reduce to 2 lanes and follow the Nantahala River through the Nantahala Gorge. The outpost will be found on the right 4.7 miles past Topton. If the road widens to four lanes, you have gone too far.
