Directions to Ocoee Outpost and Adventure Camp

From Atlanta:

I-75N to I-575N, continue on Highway 5 when 575 ends. Go through Jasper and Ellijay. Take left at red light in Blue Ridge (just past Funeral Home & Arbys on left), staying on Hwy 5 till it ends in McCayesville and Copperhill(approx. 10 miles). At 3 way stop, take left onto Hwy 68 towards Ducktown (approx. 4 miles, stay in right hand lane when it turns into a 4-lane).

Go East on 64/74 turning right towards Murphy NC.(go approx. 3 1/2 miles, get in the left lane when you see Freddys Lounge and Grill). Turn Left on Golf Course Rd (just past Freddys, if you miss it go to NC and turn around).

WWE Entrance is 9/10 of a mile on the right (Please be careful the road is narrow and curvy).

Our entrance sign has a stone base, wooden sign above with a paw print, and split rail fence along the drive. Drive through the creek, pass the horses, up the hill, turn left and check in at the Outpost.

From Chattanooga:

I-75 North out of Chattanooga toward Cleveland, TN. Go approx. 20 miles, get off on Exit 20(64 by-pass) take a right, (watch mileage because there are 2 exits to 64 East) follow 6.3 miles to US 64 East, take right on 64 East. Go approx. 37.8 miles through the Ocoee River Gorge to Ducktown, TN

In Ducktown go under Highway 68 (Hardee on right, Piggley Wiggley on Left). From Asheville/Bryson City:

Take 64/74 through Murphy, cross Tennessee line. Take 1st street on right Golf Course Road. Go 9/10 of a mile (Please be careful the road is narrow and curvy).

If You Are Only Rafting

PLEASE check in 30 minutes before your raft time with signed waivers for all participants, and remember we go rain or shine! If you think you are lost please call the camps at and we will get you back on track. The trips have to run on time, so please don't be late.

Park in the designated area behind the dining hall, to the left, or to the right behind the shower building. Walk across to the camp headquarters with your signed waivers, ready to go rafting. You will receive your gear there and our buses will take to and from the river.
